A FIELD GUIDE TO THE CRAZYGAMES BUILD
Level 1, click by click
The first level is small enough to record as a sequence of clicks. This is that sequence, with the state of the containers after each group.
The run
The board starts as three green triangles joined by a purple stem, with screws of five colours on it, a yellow container and a red container in the HUD, and four spare holes underneath.
Group 1 - yellow. Three yellow screws go to the yellow container, one per click. When the third
lands, the yellow container disappears and a green arc appears on the left of the Level 1 chip.
Group 2 - red. Three red screws, same story. The red container clears and vanishes.
Group 3 - blue and brown. Two new containers appear, one of each colour, and the plate begins to fall apart: once the screws holding a plate are gone, the plate drops away and whatever was underneath becomes clickable. The remaining blue and brown screws are the ones that were hidden.
Then the board is empty and only the green play button is left in the HUD. Pressing it produces the
completion card: LEVEL COMPLETED!, a coin, 100, and Next.
What the run teaches
- Three clicks per container. Never four, never two. The capacity is drawn in the HUD, so the count is visible before you spend it.
- A container leaving is good news. The first time it happens it looks like a failure, because the thing you were filling is gone. It is the level's progress bar doing its job.
- Plates fall when unscrewed. The board is layered. Clearing a colour is also removing a layer.
- The tray stays at zero throughout. Nothing in this run required a tool, which is another way of saying the first level is solvable with one rule.
The order that avoids the spare holes
With four spare holes and two containers of three, there is room to make two mistakes before the holes fill. The safe order is: click a colour while its container is on screen, and stop clicking colours whose container is not. Every screw of a colour with no container parks in a spare hole, and the holes do not empty on their own in the run we recorded.
Not tested
- Whether the level can be failed by filling the spare holes; we have the warning line, not the screen.
- Whether the restart arrow undoes one click or the whole level.
- Whether the wave order is fixed or depends on the order you clear colours.
- Whether the coins from this level can be spent before level 2 starts.
- Whether level 1 gives the same board on a second play.
