A FIELD GUIDE TO THE CRAZYGAMES BUILD
Level 3: three containers' worth of trouble in a smaller space
The third level keeps two containers but changes the board completely: no silhouette, just plates laid over each other. This is what the client shows on entry.
What changes on entry
-
The container row holds green and red, three slots each, both empty.
-
There are four spare holes. On the frame we took, the first one already holds an orange screw, which means an orange screw was unscrewed before any orange container existed.
-
The board is no longer one silhouette. It is four or five plates stacked: a magenta plate at the back, a green square sitting on it, a purple rectangle laid across the join, two yellow circles under the left edge and a grey bar under the right.
Why the stack matters
-
Levels 1 and 2 read as a single object you take apart from the outside in. Level 3 reads as a pile: plates overlap, and a screw that looks reachable may sit under the next plate up.
-
The client draws screws under a plate faded, and screws on top at full strength. That is the only cue it gives about what is currently unscrewable, and it is easy to miss at a glance.
What we did not confirm
-
Whether the faded screws on this board are blocked, or merely drawn that way while still clickable.
-
The full colour queue. We saw green and red at entry only.
How this frame was taken
The frame on this page is one second of a screen recording of the game window, captured at 2560 by 1440 while a player worked through the level by hand. It is frame f00284 of the recording, taken before any screw of this board had been unscrewed, which is why both containers read empty and every plate is still in place.
Not tested
- Whether a screw drawn faded can be clicked before the plate above it is lifted.
- The colours that replace green and red when each container fills.
- Whether the four spare holes are a level setting or a fixed rule; see the spare-holes page, where the count already differs between levels.
- What the brown pill with a screw in it, drawn to the left of the level chip, is for.
- Whether the two yellow circles count as one plate or two for the purposes of the queue.
