A FIELD GUIDE TO THE CRAZYGAMES BUILD
Level 4: the board turns into a flower of nine plates
This is the first board that looks like a pattern rather than an object. The plates overlap in a ring, and the screws sit at every join.
What changes on entry
-
The container row holds green and yellow, three slots each.
-
There are five spare holes, one more than level 3 and the same as level 2. The count is not monotonic; it goes 4, 5, 4, 5 across the first four levels.
-
The board is a flower: six blue circles forming an outer ring, a green hexagon at the top centre and another at the bottom centre, yellow hexagons left and right, and an orange hexagon behind the middle.
Reading the overlap
-
Every circle has a white outline and every hexagon sits partly on top of two circles, so the plates cross each other in both directions. Unscrewing from the outside does not automatically uncover the centre.
-
The exposed screws are the ones drawn at full strength; the ones under a neighbour are drawn faded, the same convention as level 3.
What we did not confirm
-
The colour queue beyond green and yellow.
-
Whether the ring can be taken apart from any starting circle, or only from specific ones.
How this frame was taken
Taken from the same recording, frame f00560: the first frame after the level-4 board finished sliding into place. Both containers are empty, all five spare holes are empty, and no plate has moved, so this is the widest view of the board the client ever draws.
Reading the row
Two containers hold three screws each, so the row can absorb six screws of two colours at any moment. The board carries screws in eight or more colours. Everything else has to wait in a spare hole, and this level gives you five of them, which is why the first move here is much freer than on level 5.
Not tested
- Which circle is the correct first move, if any order is required.
- The colours that replace green and yellow when each container fills.
- Whether the two green hexagons are one plate split by the orange one, or two separate plates.
- Whether the spare-hole count (five here) is fixed for this level or changes mid-level.
- Whether a partly covered plate lifts as soon as its last visible screw is out.
